Merchant Account Reviews

“Are You Ready to Discover How Much You
Can Save Each Month on Merchant Account Fees?”

doing_an_analysisIf you already have a merchant account, there’s a good chance we can reduce your merchant account fees by 15 % (or more).

How can we do that?

By completing the most accurate merchant account review in the industry.

We analyze your most recent merchant account statement to uncover opportunities for saving you money.

How much will you save by having us complete a review of your merchant account?

Well, after completing hundreds of merchant account reviews the average monthly savings was $115.60.

Now, your actual savings can be more or less than this amount.  There are a number of factors involved, including:

  • how you currently accept credit cards
  • your current pricing structure
  • your monthly processing volume
  • the types of credit cards your customers use to pay for your goods & services

We analyze 23 different possible rates and fees, allowing you to see for yourself just how much you are actually paying… and how much you can save.

Does that seem to you like it’s worth the time and trouble it takes to find your latest merchant account statement?

Especially considering that the average client saved $1387.82 per year in reduced merchant account fees and rates.

I guess the next question you may have is…

How Can We Save You Money Each Month?

Since 2006 we have completed hundreds of merchant account reviews for businesses just like yours.  In fact, we have reviewed merchant accounts for:

  1. retail
  2. restaurants
  3. online merchants
  4. info-marketers
  5. virtual businesses
  6. professional organizations
  7. non-profits

The list goes on.  And in that time we have reviewed just about every conceivable rate structure and pricing arrangement imaginable in the merchant processing industry.

Now, some companies do their best to hide your true cost of processing.  They want to keep you in the dark about how your fees are actually structured, because they make most of their money on hidden (and often undisclosed) surcharges.

In fact, many business owners admitted that they don’t even bother to read their statement. Instead, old statements pile up in a desk drawer… or worse still, the envelopes remain unopened.

Maybe you can relate to that.  Maybe not.

The bottom line is this: you won’t know how much you might be overpaying until you have an accurate merchant account audit prepared by us.

And that’s because we are able to uncover your actual pricing structure.

Our merchant account reviews are based on uncovering opportunities for putting your hard earned money back into your pocket by revealing (and dramatically reducing) these hidden surcharges.

For example…

Case Study #1:  We recently completed a merchant account review for a business services company.  Their annual savings amounted to $1,252.42.

How did we do this?  By slashing their rewards card and corporate rate cards.

Our cost benefit analysis revealed that nearly 89% of their sales were with Rewards and Corporate cards. By slashing the fees and surcharges associated with these credit card types we were able to create an opportunity for some substantial savings.

Okay, so now you might have a pretty good idea about HOW we can save you money.

The question remains, WHY do we go out of our way to provide companies like yours with opportunities for substantial savings on their merchant account rates.

To answer this question, I’ll break it down into TWO parts.  The first part involves my business philosophy.  The second part involves some economic realities.

For starters, at AMP we believe in ethical business practices:

Our goal is to be open and honest with our clients.  Toward that end we fully disclose ALL rates and fees to our clients because client loyalty is the surest path to business growth.

Now on to the economic realities.  How can we profitably run our business while purposefully avoiding the “typical” business practices of other merchant account providers?

At AMP, there are…

  1. No inexperienced sales reps salaries to pay.
  2. No corporate relationships with banks, meaning no “middle man” to pay (i.e. kickbacks).
  3. No expensive advertising to get new clients.
  4. No overseas call centers to maintain.

AMP does not use or employ sales reps

Why don’t we employ sales reps.  So why do the “mega processors” use (highlight USE) young, inexperienced sales reps to try to sign up your account?

The reason is simple.

For starters, sales reps ONLY get paid IF they make their monthly quota. Which means you have desperate people trying to sign up lots of new clients.  That may be great for them, but it certainly ain’t great for you.

Quite simply, the mega processing companies don’t care HOW the sales reps do their job.  It just doesn’t matter to them that sales reps many times over promise and under deliver.

That’s just not their problem.  Because once you sign up with them you’ll be locked into a 3, 4 or 5 year contract.  And the only way out if that happens is to pay their early termination fee.

Good luck.

AMP does not have “corporate” relationships with banks…

like the “mega processing companies.”

And the reason is simple.

The banks would rather send leads to the mega processors in exchange for a kickback.  Boardroom decisions between CEOs does not translate to better fees for you.

Let me share a little something with you.  The bank’s concern is NOT focused on customer service, but on adding new (and hidden) ways to put more money in their pocket.  We believe that this approach to business does NOT put your best interests first.

After all, the banks invented ATM fees, didn’t they?

AMP does not spend tons of money on costly advertising…

It’s why 99% of our leads come as referrals from existing clients.  The other 1% come from the web and direct response marketing (sales letters).

This low-cost high return marketing strategy allows us to work with less overhead.  And that means we are able to pass along these savings to you.

In our opinion, our approach DOES put your best interests first.

AMP does not employ call centers…

If you have a problem or need help with your account, when you call you’ll speak with an actual person. It may be myself, it may be my executive assistant, it may be one of our Independent Sales Office representatives.

Either way, you’ll most likely speak with someone you already know.  And that’s because, unlike sales reps that are often “on to the next,” the person who you opened your merchant account with is the same person who handles all your service related issues.

No call centers means no waiting endlessly on hold, only to finally speak to someone who has no idea about you, your business, and who couldn’t care less about your problems.  Because they’re
not paid to.

We believe that servicing your account DOES put your best interests first.

That’s our story…

Case Study #2:  For a business set up and consulting firm, we slashed their credit card processing fees by $1,523.74 per year.

In their case, since they process transactions through a virtual terminal, we were able to reduce their gateway fees and per transactions costs.  We also reduced their corporate card rate by nearly a full percentage point.

So what about you?

Case Study #3:  A beauty salon contacted us a while back to complete a merchant account review for her business.  The result?  How about $1,383.85 back in her pocket each and every year.

Because she had “bundled” rates, her face-to-face processing fee was way out of whack.  Slashing this fee was the prime driver behind her new found savings.

Now let me ask you this question…

Was the 10 minutes or so it took her to find her merchant statement to fax in to us worth her time?  If you translate that to an hourly rate, she made $8,303.10 per hour for simply sending in her statement for a merchant account review.

So what are you waiting for?

There really is no way for you to lose.

If we don’t find any significant savings for your business, the 10 minutes or so it takes to find your statement buys you peace of mind that you really are getting a good deal.  And if we do find you some substantial savings (like we do for 90% of the folks that send us their statement), you’ll certainly be glad you did.
